Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary:
As a Radiologic Technologist at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients. You will be responsible for taking x-ray exposures, explaining procedures to patients, and preparing files and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients, confirm image requirements, and explain x-ray procedures
- Review patient medical history and confirm consent forms
- Take x-ray exposures following established protocols
- Process film and inspect images for quality
- Maintain equipment and examination rooms
- Prepare patient information files and reports
- Perform other related duties as directed
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
- Completion of formal training in radiologic technology
- Radiologic Technologist License (Virginia)
- Basic Life Support
- Radiologic Technologist Certification
Additional Requirements:
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift at least 50 pounds, hear, speak, and see
- Proficiency in the use of applicable computer software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum one (1) year of experience as a radiologic technologist
- On-the-job training and internships
