Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain multiple client relationships and build strong, long-term partnerships.
  • Meet with clients and partners to discuss year-end planning and provide expert tax advice.
  • Prepare and review tax projections based on planning meetings and ensure accurate and timely completion of tax returns.
  • Manage multiple simultaneous projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Train and develop staff on less complex tax returns and provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
  • Review less complex returns prepared by staff and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Participate in special projects as necessary and contribute to the growth and development of the firm.
  • Stay up to date on a broad range of issues related to federal, local, and international tax requirements and provide expert advice to clients.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of public accounting experience, preferably in real estate development and construction, financial services, high net worth individuals, and nonprofits.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to represent the firm brand and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Good project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Professional attitude and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to exercise professional humility and give and receive constructive feedback.
  • A good sense of humor is a plus.
