Requirements

To be successful as a Physician Assistant - APRN at Baptist Health Medical Group, you must possess a strong educational foundation and professional certification. A Bachelor's degree and completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program are essential. A terminal degree in the APC field is preferred, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing education and professional growth.

National certification from the relevant national certifying agency is mandatory, and you must maintain this certification throughout your tenure. Additionally, you must be eligible for professional liability insurance at all times. A valid and unrestricted license to practice as an APC in the Commonwealth of Kentucky is also required.

Furthermore, you must hold a current BCLS certification through the American Heart Association and, as required for the position, ACLS certification. These certifications ensure that you possess the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
