Plant Electrician

This position is responsible for performing operations functions, preventive and corrective maintenance as applicable to job function to ensure proper functioning of plant equipment. The successful candidate will work under the direction of site management to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant.

• Perform daily maintenance, overhauls, calibration, troubleshooting, repair/replacement and removal/installation of plant equipment and systems.
• Conduct excitation system inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Operate material handling equipment.
• Develop and implement plant operating procedures.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, health and environmental procedures as they relate to plant operations and maintenance.

• 4 - 6 years related experience.
• Satisfactory completion of Tier 2 within primary skill for position job performance measure.
• Minimum of High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Demonstrate computer-based skills.
• Demonstrate effective oral and verbal communications skills.
• Independent knowledge of troubleshooting.
