We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support to our patients in their homes. As a valued member of our team at Hammond Home Health, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed.
- Support with medication management and administration.
- Engage in light housekeeping and laundry duties.
- Assist with transfers and mobility, as needed.
Work Schedule:
We are seeking a caregiver who can commit to a regular schedule, with the following hours:
- Sundays: 8:30AM to 4:30PM (8 hours)
- Tuesdays: 10:00AM to 3:00PM CST (5 hours)
- Wednesdays: 5:00PM to 10:00PM CST (5 hours)
- Thursdays: 5:00PM to 10:00PM CST (5 hours)
- Fridays: 2:00PM to 10:00PM CST (8 hours)
- Saturdays: 2:00PM to 10:00PM (8 hours)
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients, as needed.
