Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Overview:

As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Licensed Practical Nurse will deliver essential care to patients under the supervision of healthcare providers. This role involves preparing patients for examinations, administering prescribed medications, assisting with medical procedures, and conducting various diagnostic tests.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with patients, families, and caregivers to facilitate coordinated patient care.
  2. Assist in the execution of treatment plans and procedures, including taking vital signs and documenting test results.
  3. Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  4. Respond effectively to emergency situations, ensuring patient safety and well-being.

Qualifications:

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program.

Experience:

A minimum of two years of experience in a medical office or patient care setting is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong understanding of medical practices, patient care protocols, and familiarity with medical equipment and procedures. Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT coding guidelines is essential.

Licenses and Certifications:

Current Pennsylvania Practical Nursing License and BLS certification are mandatory.
