Job Summary:

As a Backroom Associate at Sam's Club, you will play a critical role in maintaining and processing shipments for the Club. Your responsibilities will include developing and posting delivery schedules, compiling and organizing receiving reports, verifying merchandise counts, routing merchandise to proper locations, and paying expenses. You will also be responsible for receiving merchandise for the Facility, organizing and maintaining the Receiving area, and tracking and processing claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintains and processes shipments for the Club in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Develops and posts delivery schedules.
  • Compiles and organizes receiving reports.
  • Verifies merchandise counts.
  • Routes merchandise to proper locations.
  • Pays expenses.
  • Receives merchandise for the Facility.
  • Organizes and maintains the Receiving area.
  • Tracks and processes claims.

Requirements:
  • Forklift Certification OR will obtain a Forklift Certification within 30 days of job entry date.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
