Your Role:

We are seeking an Accounting Supervisor - Accounts Receivables to oversee our corporate office operations. In this role, you will lead, train, and mentor a dedicated team of accounts receivable specialists. You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable functions within our Accounts Receivable Services, ensuring the integrity of financial data produced for our corporate office and operational divisions. Your duties will include implementing and maintaining business processes that promote effective operations while ensuring compliance with both external regulations and internal policies. You will coordinate with personnel to fulfill responsibilities and collaborate with clients and other supervisors to guarantee accurate and timely information dissemination. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in the company's closing processes, preparing various financial reports, conducting special analyses, and fostering employee development. We are looking for a seasoned accounting professional with strong leadership capabilities, and experience in accounts receivable is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set clear job expectations.

  • Oversee and analyze the customer billing process.
  • Review and assess customer billing corrections.
  • Prepare and analyze departmental and interdepartmental work papers and schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to verify transaction data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Adhere to accounting regulations.
  • Safeguard the organization’s value by maintaining confidentiality.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:

Required Skills:

Education: B.S. Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred.

Experience: Three to five years of relevant accounting experience; prior supervisory experience preferred; accounts receivable experience is a significant advantage. Familiarity with Oracle or other ERP systems is desirable. Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment. Knowledge of GAAP is essential.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Technical Skills: Proficient in advanced computer applications (Microsoft Excel, Word, Google).

Integrity: Demonstrates unwavering integrity and honesty in business dealings, upholding company policies and holding oneself and others accountable while honoring commitments.
