We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cook to join our culinary team at Kansas Crossing Casino LC. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
• Develop and implement menu items, recipes, and cooking techniques to enhance the culinary experience for our guests.
• Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to achieve exceptional performance and retention.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of culinary leadership experience, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment.
• Expert knowledge of safe food preparation techniques, menu development, and cost control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; formal culinary training or schooling preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
