About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Troon Golf. As a Building Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for fabricating, installing, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning systems and general building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabrication and Installation: Fabricate, install, and repair air conditioning systems, including ductwork, vents, and other related components.
  • Building Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Repair and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair air conditioning systems, including refrigeration units, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Certification: Possess a valid HVAC Technician Certificate from an accredited college, technical school, or equivalent facility.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration, with a strong background in building maintenance.
  • Physical Demands: Frequently use hands; regularly stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Frequently lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds; to push or pull up to 100 pounds.
  • Environment/Noise: Regularly exposed to hot and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, moving mechanical parts, compact spaces, hot attic temperatures, and outside weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job.
