Role Summary

As a Healthcare Construction Manager II at Asturian Group, you will be instrumental in driving the success of construction initiatives within the healthcare domain. Your key responsibilities will encompass overseeing daily operations, managing the construction workflow, and ensuring a secure working environment at the job site. You will collaborate closely with the project team, comply with client specifications, and contribute to the overall achievement of project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and uphold a site-specific safety strategy
  • Oversee construction processes to align with design specifications
  • Interpret and execute owner requirements and contractual documents
  • Work in partnership with the project team to define project objectives
  • Administer project quality and financial parameters
  • Assist in formulating monthly financial forecasts
  • Manage scheduling and monitor progress
  • Engage in effective communication with all stakeholders

Safety Management

  • Advocate and enforce safety standards on the project
  • Compile safety reports for the corporate safety director
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations

Business Engagement

  • Facilitate the company’s interests through contract management
  • Showcase company capabilities and qualifications
  • Uphold project branding and professionalism

Required Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in healthcare construction management
  • Healthcare Construction Certification (HCC) and ICRA Training
  • Proficient understanding of construction plans and specifications
  • First-Aid/CPR Certification and OSHA 30 Hour Certification
  • Experience managing projects exceeding $3M

Work Environment

The work environment will vary based on project assignments and may involve exposure to diverse weather conditions, challenging terrain, and elevated work areas. The office setting may include a field trailer or vehicle for certain projects. Outdoor evaluations may be necessary.

Physical Demands

Physical demands include the use of ladders, lifting, and traversing rugged landscapes. Administrative tasks such as typing and data entry may also be required.
