We are seeking a skilled Bakery Clerk to join our team at ShopRite of Carteret. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Packing out product into display cases to ensure optimal visibility and presentation.
  • Rotating product to guarantee freshness and maintaining accurate signage within the department.
  • Preparing trays to meet Company standards and customer expectations.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our bakery operation. As a Bakery Clerk, you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in food safety, inventory management, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Packaging and displaying baked goods in an attractive and visually appealing manner.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Local, State, and Federal regulations.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to queries and resolving any issues efficiently.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail or food industry.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
