Job Overview

Role Responsibilities

As a Transportation Security Officer at Glacier Park International Airport (GPI), you will collaborate with a skilled team of security professionals. Your role will involve utilizing exceptional customer service and analytical skills to ensure the safety of travelers by identifying and mitigating potential threats.

Key Duties Include:

  • Conducting thorough screening of passengers and their baggage.
  • Utilizing advanced screening technologies.
  • Engaging with travelers to provide assistance and information.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Successful completion of a computerized assessment (grammar and X-ray interpretation).
  • Passing a medical evaluation (vision, hearing, and joint mobility).
  • Completion of a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Successful TSA background and financial records check.
  • Availability to work any day of the week and any shift within the operational hours.
  • Public Trust clearance is required to start.
What We Offer

Competitive Compensation: $19.00 per hour.

Training Opportunities:

  • No prior experience is necessary; comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Potential travel accommodations for a 2-week training session to become a certified officer.
