Job Summary

C-P Flexible Packaging is seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team. As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control: Monitor and identify critical control points (CCP) within our processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Process Monitoring: Conduct regular inspections of our manufacturing processes to ensure product food safety and quality.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all relevant documentation, including recipe guidelines and quality control logs.
  • Employee Training: Educate employees on quality expectations and ensure they are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices.
  • Sample Collection: Collect product samples for the Quality lab to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Inspections: Perform regular inspections of in-process printing to ensure quality and accuracy of the print according to customer specifications.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work with Operations to identify areas for continuous improvement and implement changes to improve quality and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years' experience in printing, food, or regulated industry with knowledge of cGMP's (21CFR 110/111/210/211).
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office package software, excellent communication and time management skills, and attention to detail.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Working Conditions
  • Lifting: Able to lift up to 50-80 lbs.
  • Standing: Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
  • Physical Demands: Bending, reaching, twisting, and climbing ladders.
