Job Title: Truck Driver CDL A Hourly

We are seeking a skilled Class A CDL Driver to join our team at Ryder System in Milwaukee, WI.

Job Summary:

This is an immediate opening for a Regional Truck Driver with a Class A CDL and experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle. The successful candidate will have the ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight as required by the customer
  • Meet safety and regulatory requirements
  • Communicate effectively with customers and Ryder team members
Requirements:
  • Class A CDL with verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including overnights and weekends
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
Benefits:
  • $26.00 per hour
  • Overtime paid after 40 hours
  • Per diem pay of $50.00 per night
  • Sign on bonus of $3000
  • Trailer type: Flatbed, Dry Van, Reefer
  • Freight: Touch/No Touch - Varies by Account, Load Securement – Flatbed Accounts
