Position Summary:

Become a vital part of the Sheba Foods team as a Logistics Warehouse Operator, where your contributions will be essential in ensuring our operations function seamlessly. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including order picking and packing, inventory oversight, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. This role requires a proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to excel in a vibrant, fast-paced setting.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Order Processing:
    • Accurately select items from our inventory to fulfill customer orders, ensuring precision in every order.
    • Securely package orders for shipment, focusing on product integrity and proper labeling.
  • Inventory Oversight:
    • Receive, evaluate, and arrange incoming shipments, ensuring all items are in excellent condition.
    • Conduct regular inventory audits, maintaining accurate stock levels and promptly reporting any discrepancies.
  • Warehouse Maintenance:
    • Uphold a clean and organized warehouse, adhering to all safety and hygiene standards.
    • Ensure storage areas are neat, preventing product damage through proper storage practices.
  • Shipping and Receiving Coordination:
    • Collaborate with delivery services to manage outgoing shipments, ensuring timely dispatch.
    • Efficiently process incoming shipments, updating inventory records and addressing any inconsistencies.
  • Quality Control:
    • Examine products for quality and freshness throughout all handling stages.
    • Guarantee that all items meet Sheba Foods' high standards before reaching customers.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work cohesively with team members to enhance overall warehouse operations.
    • Communicate effectively with distribution and customer service teams to resolve any issues or delays.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is advantageous but not essential.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt swiftly in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency for managing inventory and orders.
  • Physical endurance to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
