About the Role

Cortica is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner III to join its team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to children with neurodevelopmental differences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient intakes, screenings, and assessments to develop personalized care plans.
  • Triage referrals for acute needs and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care.
  • Utilize the nursing process to practice within the scope of responsibilities, including placing orders and screening tests in accordance with approved protocols.
  • Provide ongoing education to families on various topics, including autism, ADHD, anxiety, and sensory processing disorder.
  • Work closely with cognitive and behavioral child neurologists and pediatricians to provide ongoing care for attention, sleep, headaches, and challenging behavior.
Requirements
  • Minimum 12 months of pediatric practice experience in an outpatient setting, preferably in behavioral neurology and/or neurodevelopmental medicine.
  • Proficiency in ADIR/ADOS diagnostic evaluation and telemedicine skills, including the ability to leverage multiple forms of technology simultaneously.
  • Current and unrestricted license and/or certification required to practice within your clinical domain.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, including word processing, managing files and records, and designing forms.

The base pay range for this opening is $137,000 to $171,000, depending on your skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location. We value your experience and qualifications and are proud to provide a compensation package designed to enhance all aspects of your life.
