Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Room patients, take vital signs, and complete patient intakes
  • Prepare and administer injections, review medication histories, and coordinate patient flow between providers
  • Complete in-basket tasks, process orders, and complete prior authorizations
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • MA certification required within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam
  • Completion of either 6 months MA experience or completion of 100-hour MA externship required
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network required at hire
