About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Transformation Senior Manager to join our team at Truist. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving strategic objectives through thought leadership, organizational design, management, and execution of a portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide thought leadership and organizational design for core functions or programs.
  • Direct and oversee financial management, organizational planning, and design of Cyber programs.
  • Partner with cyber domain managers and subject matter experts to develop program design, plan, metrics, and execution strategy.
  • Ensure business cases are developed for budgeting, planning, and tracking revenue and/or expense.
  • Direct and oversee relationships with business owners and technology leads to support overall program needs.
  • Ensure program activities are on a path to deliver benefits realization.
  • Implement and oversee appropriate risk management plans for program initiatives.
  • Monitor and challenge performance of current systems and processes.
  • Identify and advocate for solutions to deliver value and mitigate risk.
  • Lead teams or multiple teams of internal and/or external resources.
  • Analyze and collectively manage variances to the program plan and overall portfolio.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and eight years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • General business management, consulting-type work, or other disciplines related to business management and/or technology.
  • In-depth and broad knowledge within own professional discipline.
  • Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and apply best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
  • Experience managing a team, including identifying and recruiting talent, managing performance, and making decisions about resource allocation.
  • Executive level communication skills, including negotiation, persuasion, and ability to influence others.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in technology organization management, financial management, risk management, people management, issue resolution, and influencing team members and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated superior understanding of business and technology organization, resources, priorities, needs, and policies.
  • Demonstrated leadership in the implementation of complex programs and projects.
  • Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous assignments.
  • Demonstrated executive level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior working knowledge of business matters, finance, planning, and forecasting.
  • Strong skills in MS Office Suite and experience with both Agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
