Job Title: Application Developer Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity to join the State of Florida as an Application Developer Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining IT systems that support our mission to serve the community.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill this critical role. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in C# and.NET Framework/Core. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications, as well as providing maintenance and support to existing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement software applications using C# and.NET Framework/Core
  • Design and develop database objects using SQL Server
  • Provide maintenance and support to existing IT systems
  • Collaborate with network administrators, database administrators, and business owners to resolve issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum two-year degree in programming/computer science or Microsoft C# developer certification
  • Experience developing and implementing n-tier web applications using C#,.NET Framework/Core, XML, JSON, ADO.NET/Entity Framework, Restful Services, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, ASP.Net, Web Forms/MVC, and IIS
  • Experience with the complete software development lifecycle phases, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of n-tier web applications
  • Experience creating stored procedures and development of database objects using SQL Server
  • Experience creating and maintaining data interfaces between various platforms using various data formats
  • Experience building test matrices for systems testing
  • Experience with reporting tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services or Microsoft Power BI
