Geomatics Technician

About the Opportunity

Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services, and we're looking for a talented Geomatics Technician to join our team in Metro Detroit. As a critical member of our geomatics team, you will work on various projects, including municipal/public sector projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform field work, including construction layout, topographic data collection, boundary research, ALTA surveys, and utility research
• Process and analyze field data, create construction layouts, and perform boundary calculations
• Collaborate with supervisors to deliver high-quality projects on time

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying, or related field
• Experience with LiDAR processing and extraction, and survey CAD software
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Benefits
