Key Responsibilities
* Perform transportation or traffic engineering work on traffic signal timing studies, signal systems management, and operations
* Develop and implement strategies and equipment in support of connected and automated vehicles
* Conduct traffic engineering studies, traffic impact analyses, traffic operation, and safety studies
* Plan and design Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) plans, specifications, budget estimates, and reports
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Transportation Planning, Electrical Engineering, or related field
* PE license in Texas
* Over five (5) years of ITS/traffic engineering experience
* Over five (5) years with traffic system design, operations, and signal timing studies
* Familiarity with ITS planning and Plans, Specifications & Estimate (PS&E) development
