Join our team as a Senior Environmental Specialist and contribute to our mission of delivering sustainable infrastructure solutions that benefit our communities. In this role, you will provide technical input on environmental monitoring and design or construction methods to ensure compliance with environmental specifications or regulatory standards.

About the Role

You will work closely with our Environmental Manager to support all projects in Sacramento. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Auditing and analyzing environmental performance to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Advising design and construction teams on minimizing environmental impacts
  • Managing subcontractors for specific environmental tasks
  • Conducting impact assessments to mitigate environmental risks and costs

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also play a key role in raising awareness of emerging environmental issues across the organization and engaging in environmental education and research.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field
  • Environmental certification (e.g. CPESC Certification)
  • 3+ years' experience in environmental regulatory and construction industry compliance
