About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our Maintenance Team in Norwell, MA. As a key member of our production process, you will work closely with individuals across multiple departments to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize a wide range of machine shop equipment to perform tasks such as machining, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Work from complex machine diagrams and manuals to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on both complex and simple mechanical systems.
  • Comply with all OSHA regulations and company-established safety policies.
Requirements
  • High School diploma required; experience or training from a vocational school or as an apprentice or journeyman preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in machining and troubleshooting with general machine shop skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety and ability to complete company-specific safety training.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Environmental Factors and Physical Demands
  • Required to walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; talk or hear.
  • Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
