About the Position:
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our rehabilitation team at Fusion Medical Staffing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to patients in need of physical therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide and coordinate patient care with other members of the healthcare team.
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes.
- Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
- Transport patients as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- One to three years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant is preferred.
- Certifications may be required for this position.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential.
- The ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use PC skills is also necessary.
