Job Overview

At Basesix, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our project management team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine or validate the scope of work, including site visits and preparation of work descriptions and specifications
  • Support Sales & Estimating teams in the design, scheduling, and material specifications for project proposals
  • Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed and are effective
  • Assist project lead coordinators and update site notes as directed
  • Attend monthly job reviews and assist with scheduling and onboarding subcontractors
  • Coordinate the purchasing and delivery of project materials and interface with customers onsite or elsewhere
  • Initiate Change Orders with customers as needed and provide all relevant documentation for the project cycle
  • Provide progress information and reports at regular intervals to meet internal and external reporting deadlines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction or related field or current pursuit of degree or related experience
  • Experience working in a construction environment preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great organizational skills and ability to run multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and Blue Beam
  • Competitive spirit and customer service-minded skillset
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and scenarios
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed
  • Ability to walk large project sites, climb ladders, lift 50 lbs., and frequent use of stairs
  • Valid driver's license
