Stroke Neurology Physician Assistant

A premier teaching hospital in New York City is seeking a highly skilled Stroke Neurology Physician Assistant to join its esteemed team.
This dynamic opportunity involves working collaboratively with attending physicians to provide exceptional patient care, conducting thorough physical examinations, and formulating comprehensive treatment plans. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Obtaining detailed patient histories and performing meticulous physical examinations;
- Writing concise progress notes, procedure notes, and monthly care plans;
- Ordering and/or performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with precision;
- Conducting pre- and post-operative examinations with accuracy;
- Formulating diagnoses with confidence;
- Developing and implementing effective treatment plans;
- Maintaining timely and appropriate communication with patients and family members;
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to identify potential stroke patients;
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree, be a graduate of an accredited Physician's Assistant program, and be registered as a Physician's Assistant in New York State. BLS & ACLS certification is also required. New graduates are welcome to apply.
