Compressor Technician Job Description

At OTC Industrial Technologies, we are seeking a skilled Compressor Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Air Supply group, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of our compressed air systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and related rotating equipment.
  • Diagnose issues and suggest improvements for better performance.
  • Ensure repaired compressors meet standards through testing and quality control.
  • Keep meticulous records of work done, parts used, and other relevant details.
  • Track down replacement parts promptly when needed.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and industry norms for a secure work setting.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding repair progress, provide estimates, and address their concerns.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for vocational maintenance training.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a multi-craft or maintenance tech role, ideally with compressor experience.
  • Safety-conscious, technically savvy, detail-driven, and top-notch customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record, ability to pass drug tests and background checks.
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team, with a willingness to work on-call duty and overtime as needed.
