Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Speech Language Pathologists to deliver specialized speech and language services to students with Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) and Individualized Education Plans (IEP) within a school setting. This role involves working with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels, ensuring that their unique communication needs are met.

Qualifications:
  • Must possess a valid Speech and Language Pathologist license (Maryland licensure required).
  • Preferred experience in providing speech and language services to school-aged children.
  • Familiarity with the IEP process, including development and implementation.
  • Experience working as a Speech Pathologist in educational settings is preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver speech and language services as outlined in IFSP and/or IEP for students with disabilities.
  • Document progress and data related to goals and objectives.
  • Complete necessary documentation in the Maryland Online IEP system, including Draft IEP/Service Plans and Quarterly progress reports.
  • Conduct speech and language assessments and prepare reports as required.
  • Manage an independent caseload, including scheduling, progress reporting, and communication with parents.
  • Travel between schools as needed.
  • Participate in IEP/IFSP meetings as required.
  • Complete paperwork for Medicaid billing.
  • Collaborate with CCPS staff, private school personnel, and other service providers.
