This is a key position in the accounting department responsible for month-end closing, financial statement preparation, and reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for account reconciliations, supporting business operations, and helping establish budgets, forecasting, and creating proforma projections.

• Perform monthly financial close functions, including compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare entries.
• File sales and use tax and other local taxes with necessary government institutions.
• Oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Assist with preparing PBC list for year-end audits.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.

• Manage the accounting staff responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.
• Recruit and hire accounting and financial staff and conduct performance evaluations.
• Coordinate training programs for new staff and identify training needs for current staff.
