Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and reliable Dishroom Attendant to join our culinary team at Il Premio, a modern steakhouse inspired by Italian luxury.

This role plays a crucial part in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen by ensuring prompt and thorough cleaning of all dishes, utensils, and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the dishwashing machine's proper functioning and cleanliness at all times.
  • Efficiently sort, rinse, and load dishes, utensils, glassware, and other kitchen equipment into the dishwasher following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Monitor and manage dishwashing supplies, including detergents and rinse agents, promptly notifying supervisors when supplies require replenishment.
  • Ensure all dishes, utensils, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and stored in designated areas to maintain hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing and storage areas, including regular cleaning of the dishwashing machine, sinks, and work surfaces.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and ensuring a hazard-free work environment.
  • Support the kitchen team with various tasks, such as receiving and storing deliveries, restocking supplies, and contributing to general kitchen cleanliness.
  • Demonstrate a strong personality reflecting commitment to high standards with impeccable attention to detail in all responsibilities.
  • Show passion for food, beverage, and hospitality, contributing to a vibrant and dynamic team environment.
  • Excel in multitasking within a high-volume, fast-paced environment, maintaining composure and efficiency under pressure.

Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and procedures.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
  • Dependability and reliability in fulfilling job responsibilities.
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is between $30,000 and $45,000 per year, depending on experience.
