Key Responsibilities
  • Assist professional nursing personnel in providing quality patient care by performing tasks involving direct and indirect patient care.
  • Perform basic technical skills, including CPR, vital sign measurement, and fluid intake/output recording.
  • Assist patients with personal care, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide patients with help walking, exercising, and moving in and out of bed.
  • Maintain unit supplies and document patient care data.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant licensure.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care facility.
  • Graduate of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant program.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of age-specific principles of growth and development and life stages.
