We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician II to join our team at University Hospitals. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in the retrieval, processing, preparation, and distribution of medications for patient administration.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately prepare patient medications, including non-sterile products and sterile products, such as chemotherapy and TPN.
- Deliver patient-specific medications in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage and maintain drug stock, including inventory, replenishment, and storage.
- Orient and train new staff members to ensure a smooth transition.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Comply with all policies and standards, including those related to protected health information (PHI).
- Participate in annual training and adhere to the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
