Job Summary:

The Wholesale Operations Administrator plays a crucial role in facilitating the daily operations of the Credit Operations Department. This position collaborates closely with team members in the Dealer Credit Department, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive customer service support to dealers, manufacturers, and internal departments regarding wholesale accounts and dealer loans.
  2. Address inquiries, conduct research, and resolve discrepancies effectively.
  3. Process new business transactions on a daily basis.
  4. Review incoming requests for accuracy and compliance with established guidelines.
  5. Assess the value of used vehicles or equipment using industry-standard valuation tools.
  6. Initiate funding processes (check, wire, or EFT) and ensure timely completion.
  7. Accurately input new business data into the wholesale system.
  8. Notify the Accounting department of any discrepancies or potential issues.
  9. Identify and categorize incoming payments received through various methods.
  10. Prepare checks for deposit according to appropriate guidelines.
  11. Ensure accurate posting of payments in the Wholesale and CapLoan systems.
  12. Review daily processing reports to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  13. Monitor insurance coverage for wholesale accounts and dealer loans, ensuring compliance.
  14. Collect and verify updated documentation as needed.
  15. Track and manage MSOs or titles for designated accounts, ensuring timely release upon payoff.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years in Customer Service; 1 year in Payment Posting or Processing preferred.
  • Experience in the Auto, Banking, or Finance sectors is advantageous.
  • Strong business acumen and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
