Key Responsibilities:
- Rapidly and accurately evaluate patient care requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to diagnose and formulate treatment strategies.
- Simultaneously manage multiple patient cases, consistently prioritizing their needs.
- As a Registered Nurse, perform thorough clinical evaluations, prioritize the needs of patients and their families, and develop, implement, and assess care plans.
- Modify care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of nursing practices and patient care protocols, along with relevant procedures.
- Be knowledgeable about nursing regulations, standards, and guidelines applicable in your jurisdiction.
- Familiarize yourself with hospital policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology, with an emphasis on health maintenance, disease prevention, treatment management, common medications, and their potential side effects.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, facilitating effective critical thinking.
- Have basic computer proficiency, including skills in Microsoft Office, information security, scheduling and payroll systems, electronic medical records, and email communication.
Essential Qualifications: Must possess a valid RN license, BLS (AHA), and ACLS (AHA) certification or obtain them within 30 days of commencing employment in this position.
Educational and Experience Criteria: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a specialization in nursing and a minimum of two years of recent, full-time experience in Emergency Medicine.
