Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronic Engineer Technician to join our team at the State of Iowa. As an Electronic Engineer Technician, you will be responsible for performing technical engineering work, including the development and implementation of computerized electronic equipment or telecommunications systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, diagnostics, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic equipment.
  • Assist in resolving operational issues through written and verbal communications.
  • Supervise incarcerated individuals assisting with tasks when and where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Completion of two years of formal training in electronic engineering technology, and three years of technical experience in electronic engineering work.
  • OR an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling five years.
