Job Summary

University of Washington Medical Center is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. As an integral part of our radiology department, you will assist radiologists, cardiologists, and neurosurgeons in performing interventional procedures, including angiographic, interventional, neuro-injection, and neuro-embolization procedures.

Responsibilities

Assist physician in performing interventional diagnostic exams & procedures
Assist radiologists, cardiologists, and neurosurgeons in performing radiographic procedures
Prepare and position patient for exam
Scrub and assist the radiologist, cardiologist, or neurosurgeon; sets up sterile procedure trays; circulate and monitor patient during exam
Administer contrast/IV fluids/medications and monitor patient vital signs post-injection of medication, in accordance with hospital guidelines

Requirements

Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school, registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), OR equivalent education/experience
