  • Turno: Turno diurno (8 horas) - en persona. Se requiere trabajar algunos días festivos - sin noches ni turnos de madrugada. Se requiere un fin de semana al mes, lo que implica acudir al hospital los sábados y estar de guardia de forma remota los domingos.
  • Tiempo Completo 40 hrs/semanales
  • Proporcionará terapia nutricional para pacientes hospitalizados, soporte nutricional (parenteral y enteral) y educación nutricional a una variedad de pacientes en todos los entornos de atención al paciente.
Alcance
  • Asesora e instruye a pacientes ambulatorios y/o familias proporcionando materiales de instrucción por escrito.
  • Evalúa y documenta la comprensión del paciente y/o cuidador sobre la dieta según los objetivos de comportamiento.
  • Evalúa, interpreta y utiliza investigaciones actuales pertinentes relacionadas con la nutrición para desarrollar y revisar materiales educativos y esquemas de enseñanza.
  • Responde a solicitudes/referencias telefónicas, enviando información según corresponda.
  • Participa en programas y educación para el personal, pacientes y la comunidad.
  • Documentación y Facturación.
  • Documenta las visitas de los pacientes y factura a los pacientes por los servicios de acuerdo con las políticas y procedimientos establecidos.
  • Promueve la misión, visión y valores de Intermountain Healthcare, y se adhiere a los estándares de comportamiento de servicio.
Requisitos Mínimos
  • Se requiere título de licenciatura con pasantía dietética o equivalente.
  • Registro con la Comisión de Registro de Dietistas de la ADA es requerido. Se requiere BLS actual o la capacidad de obtenerlo dentro de los tres (3) meses posteriores a la contratación.

Requisitos Físicos:
  • Interactuar con otros comunicándose de manera efectiva, tanto oralmente como por escrito.
  • Operar computadoras y otros equipos de oficina que requieren la capacidad de mover dedos y manos.
  • Ver y leer monitores de computadora y documentos.
  • Permanecer sentado o de pie durante largos períodos de tiempo para realizar trabajos en una computadora, teléfono u otro equipo.
  • Pueden requerirse levantamiento y transporte de objetos y suministros de oficina, así como agacharse, arrodillarse y alcanzar.

El rango horario para esta posición se detalla a continuación. La tasa horaria real depende de la experiencia.
