Job Summary

The Polysomnographic Technologist provides sleep care services to patients in accordance with the provider's direction and established protocols to independently perform Polysomnograms (PSG), Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT), Maintenance Wakefulness Tests (MWT) and Unattended Sleep Studies. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and medical knowledge to render quality patient care.

Work Schedule

Mon, Tues or Wed; 7:00 pm - 7:00 am; one 12 hour shift per week.

Job Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A graduate of a CAAHEP accredited polysomnographic technology program is preferred.
  • Experience: One year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Certified Respiratory Technician (CRT), Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist (END) or Polysomnographic Technologist. Two years' experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist is preferred.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) as a registered polysomnographic technologist (RPSGT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) awarded by the American Heart Association are required.
