Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Stockroom Associate at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the growth of your career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and back areas, to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Process customer purchases and returns accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with precision and attention to detail.
  • Support the sales floor team by restocking shelves, processing merchandise, and maintaining visual merchandising standards.
  • Participate in store recovery efforts to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, support store initiatives, and maintain a positive store culture.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support business needs.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, with or without reasonable accommodation, to support the needs of the store.
  • Previous retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role, is an asset.
