At Dominion Senior Living, we're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while maintaining residents' dignity and comfort.
  • Monitor residents for signs of distress, illness, or emergencies, and respond accordingly, following safety protocols and fall prevention measures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care, including changes in condition, medication administration, and daily care activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with the nursing team, caregivers, and other staff members to ensure seamless communication about residents' needs, concerns, and updates.
  • Plan and participate in recreational activities, exercise programs, and social events to encourage residents' physical and emotional well-being, tailoring activities to their interests.
  • Respect and protect residents' privacy and confidentiality at all times, adhering to HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or GED is usually the minimum educational requirement.
  • People Skills: Friendly, patient, and a good listener, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff.
  • Team Player: A collaborative and supportive team player who is committed to working alongside our nursing team and other staff members.
  • Attention to Detail: A detail-oriented individual who ensures residents' comfort and safety, with a focus on the little things that matter.
