Materials Technician I

Job Summary:

As a Materials Technician I at UCHealth, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain. Your primary responsibility will be to count, deliver, and maintain supply levels on patient care units and departments. You will also be responsible for filling supply needs of support departments, delivering time-sensitive patient equipment, supplies, and exchange carts, and correctly sorting and receiving all shipments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Restock incoming supplies, pull and deliver stock requisitions, and use powered equipment as needed.
  • Verify shipment contents are correct and undamaged, deliver inbound packages throughout the facility, sort outbound product and materials, and deliver department orders and non-routine supplies as assigned.
  • Record receipts in the system, process paperwork, assist with physical inventory data entry and comparison verification, and maintain a working knowledge of inventory par level analysis.
  • Perform clerical tracking, including stat issues/transfers, note and verify stock discrepancies, filing, and other duties as assigned. Process outbound shipping as needed and manifest product for courier delivery.
  • Exercise critical thinking skills, make decisive judgments, and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
