About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse II to join our team at Levindale Hospital. As a Charge Nurse II, you will be responsible for providing safe, age-appropriate patient care and serving as a leader and resource for other members of the patient care team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical expertise and mentorship to staff nurses
- Assist in the overall direction and coordination of unit operations
- Mentor and role model best practices and professional policies
- Collaborate with the Education Resource Center to identify unit-based educational opportunities
- Facilitate and coordinate educational and competency validation activities
- Assist in effective management of human and material resources
Requirements:
- Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years of college)
- 1-3 years of experience as a Charge Nurse II
- BLS certification
- Maryland Registered Nurse License
- ACLS certification for application to telemetry
