Position Overview

The Senior Mechanical Technician will be responsible for overseeing and mentoring the mechanical maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a skilled team of mechanical maintenance personnel.
  • Oversee mechanical projects from inception to completion.
  • Conduct routine office and production facility maintenance.
  • Perform lubrication and oil changes on heavy machinery.
  • Execute repairs and replacements of critical components such as bearings, gearheads, belts, chains, conveyors, and filters.
  • Adapt existing structural elements to meet safety standards and implement cost-saving strategies.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed with a strong focus on quality, environmental considerations, and safety protocols.
  • Fabricate necessary parts for the repair of current equipment and the installation of new machinery.
  • Assist in managing the inventory of spare parts.
  • Conduct basic maintenance on vehicles including forklifts and trucks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
