Key Responsibilities

The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for:

  • Preparing sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned surgical procedure.
  • Maintaining a sterile environment throughout the operation.
  • Providing the surgeon with necessary sterile supplies and instruments during procedures.
Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required for new hires.
  • Completion of an Operating Room Technician training program or equivalent on-the-job training with a minimum of three years of experience in a surgical setting is preferred.
  • Proven experience in scrubbing for both minor and major procedures across various surgical specialties, including GYN, General, and Plastics.
  • Experience in assisting with minor procedures in specialized surgical areas such as orthopedics, neurology, ENT, and urology.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required upon hire and must be maintained.
