We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with Montessori principles and Guidepost Montessori's educational philosophy.
  • Prepare and maintain a safe and engaging learning environment that promotes independence, exploration, and discovery.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and communicate effectively to ensure a collaborative approach to the child's education.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in infant education.

Requirements

  • Montessori diploma for 0-3 or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience working with infants in a group setting.
  • Familiarity with child-led philosophies such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori.
  • 6 Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development credits.
  • Bachelor's Degree (any subject).
