Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN specializing in Obstetrics to join our team at Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill. This role is essential in providing exceptional care to our patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support is mandatory for all nursing specialties, with exceptions for specific units.
  • BLS: Basic Life Support certification is required.
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification is necessary for certain roles.
  • NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure certification is required for Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP).
Contract Details
  • Duration: 7 weeks contract.
  • Weekend Availability: Required based on unit needs (Saturdays and Sundays).
  • On-Call: No on-call duties expected.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience is necessary.
  • Scheduling: Block scheduling will not be accommodated.
  • Travel Pairs: Not permitted.
  • Coverage: Responsibilities include Labor and Mother/Baby care.
Patient Care Requirements
  • Patient Mix: Experience with OB ED, C-section circulating and scrubbing preferred, as well as labor, antepartum, and postpartum patients.
  • Charting: Proficiency in Cerner charting and Fetal Link is required.
  • Staffing Ratios: Typical ratios are Labor - 1:1, Postpartum - 1:3, depending on staffing levels.
  • First-Time Travelers: Welcome to apply.
  • Uniforms: Scrubs will be provided.
Job Requirements
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP are required.
  • Experience: Familiarity with EFM, Inpatient OB, RF Wanding technology, and Jada system is necessary.
