Student Engagement Coach

The district is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment, ensuring that all employment decisions comply with applicable laws and regulations.

The Community Coach will collaborate closely with the Principal and the Head Coach of their designated sport.

Key responsibilities include supporting the Head Coach in preparing students for competitions, executing game plans, and pinpointing areas for development. The role also involves managing sports equipment, keeping abreast of first aid protocols, and maintaining the cleanliness of athletic facilities.

Community Coaches are appointed on a temporary basis and are required to undergo annual evaluations.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Prior coaching experience is strongly preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:
  • A Georgia High School Association Lay Coaching Certificate is required.
  • A valid first aid certification is essential.
