Position Overview:
Shift: Night Shift - 7pm to 7am
Starting Pay Rate: $27.29/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety protocols.
- Ensure a safe working environment by promptly identifying and addressing safety concerns.
- Produce items according to specified product standards within the Converting Department.
- Comply with ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and GMP regulations.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and job specifications diligently.
- Complete production documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Maintain accurate inventory records through effective use of MFG/Pro systems.
- Engage in team-based problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support initiatives aimed at enhancing manufacturing performance, including throughput and safety.
- Operate lift-trucks for material handling and inventory management.
- Assist in employee training as required.
- Maintain personal training records for compliance.
- Be responsible for daily production upkeep, preventive maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and management to foster a positive work environment.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Commitment to safety as a core value and ability to model safe practices.
- Strong focus on quality and service, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to comprehend manufacturing-related documentation.
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on open communication.
- Willingness to work designated hours and accept overtime as needed.
- Flexibility to handle various work assignments to meet production goals.
- Ability to multitask and respond promptly to assignments.
- Strong attendance and punctuality record.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly ERP systems.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically throughout the shift.
Preferred:
- At least 2 years of experience in a skilled labor role with mechanical aptitude.
- Experience in a regulated industry, such as medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
