Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage the project team and field operations to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with clients, construction managers, project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Oversee project setup, site logistics, field coordination, and adherence to project timelines.
- Review project documentation for feasibility and accuracy, including shop drawings.
- Maintain comprehensive project records, including Requests for Information (RFIs), Architect's Supplemental Instructions (ASIs), and as-built documents.
- Develop and implement a site-specific emergency action plan in conjunction with the Project Manager.
- Supervise subcontractor activities and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate inspections with building authorities and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare daily safety audit reports.
- Facilitate meetings including Foreman, pre-task, safety, and project staff meetings.
- Manage workforce productivity and performance on-site.
- Utilize project management and scheduling software effectively to track progress.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically as a commercial construction superintendent.
- Experience in affordable housing construction is essential.
- Proven track record in managing multifamily or senior living projects valued between $40M and $100M.
- Strong numerical and computer skills are required.
- Ability to coordinate and manage project timelines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on timely updates.
- A collaborative team player.
- Proficient in technical tools such as PlanGrid, Microsoft Project, and the MS Office Suite.
